I’m Celma, originally from Germany, but of Portuguese origin. As the daughter of Portuguese parents, I moved to Portugal of my own free will (and without my parents) in 1997. I attended high school in Leiria and then took my Higher Education Study in Estoril, on the Lisbon Coast, in order to become a certified Tour Guide. And although I am a Tour Guide by training, along the way I became a passionate wine lover!
That first magical moment when I actually enjoyed a wine was at a working lunch during the European Football competition in 2004 (whilst being the Guide of a group of German Football Trainers). It was a red amphora wine, the José de Sousa Mayor, from the producer José Maria da Fonseca that left me wanting to try more Wines and that’s where my story with wine began. Naturally, I tried more and more Wines and eventually met people along the way who were also passionate about Wine.
